Crypto cards are becoming increasingly useful for digital nomads, freelancers and anyone who receives income or keeps part of their savings in cryptocurrency. Instead of transferring crypto to a bank, waiting for withdrawals and converting currencies manually, a crypto card can let you spend from your digital-asset balance wherever Visa or Mastercard is accepted.
But the differences between cards can be substantial.
I currently use the Bybit Card, the new WhiteBIT Nova USD Card, and I have also tested the application process for the new Wirex One virtual card. Although all three cards connect crypto with everyday spending, their fee structures, cashback systems and eligibility requirements are very different.
This guide compares:
- Bybit Card
- WhiteBIT Nova USD Card
- Wirex One Card
We will look at their fees, cashback, rewards, country availability, application process and suitability for international spending.
Quick verdict on these three crypto cards
The most suitable card depends on how and where you intend to use it:
- Wirex One may be the strongest travel card because it advertises zero foreign-transaction fees and starts with a virtual card. However, its best cashback tiers require a larger portfolio and holdings of the WPAY token.
- Bybit is convenient for existing Bybit users, particularly in supported markets such as Georgia. Its standard cashback is straightforward, although currency and crypto-conversion fees can offset the reward.
- WhiteBIT Nova USD offers attractive category cashback, but its 1.5% transaction fee and additional non-USD conversion fee make it relatively expensive for small purchases and everyday spending outside the US dollar.
None is automatically the best crypto card for every user. Geography, spending currency, account balance and reward eligibility matter more than the headline cashback percentage.
Bybit vs WhiteBIT vs Wirex One comparison
| Feature | Bybit Card | WhiteBIT Nova USD | Wirex One |

| General transaction fee | No separate purchase fee listed for Georgia | 1.5% + $0.20 per transaction | No separate card purchase fee advertised |
| ATM withdrawals | Physical card only; fees and allowances vary | Not available at launch | Physical and metal cards only |

The figures above are based on official card documentation available on 24 July 2026. All three providers use regional programmes, so the terms displayed inside your account should take priority.
1. Bybit Card review
The Bybit Card connects directly to your Bybit account and can use supported fiat currencies, cryptocurrency held in your Funding Account and, in some regions, assets held in Flexible Easy Earn.
Bybit does not operate one identical global card programme. The card network, base currency, limits, fees and mobile-wallet support depend on the applicant’s country.
Bybit currently documents card programmes for markets including Georgia, Kazakhstan, the AIFC region, Argentina, Australia, Mexico, Brazil, Peru and parts of the Asia-Pacific region. Residents of the European Economic Area must use the separate Bybit EU platform, and card access depends on whether the programme appears in their Bybit EU account.
Bybit Card fees
For the USD Bybit Card, the principal fees are:
- Virtual card issuance: currently free
- Physical card: 29.99 USDT for standard users
- Crypto conversion: 0.9%
- Foreign exchange: 2% when the transaction currency differs from USD
- ATM withdrawals: 2% after the first $100 withdrawn during the month
- Annual fee: none listed
- Inactivity fee: none listed
- Card cancellation: no fee listed
Bybit states that the 0.9% crypto-conversion charge is added to its One-Click Sell exchange rate. This means there can also be a difference between the market price and the conversion rate applied by the platform.
Example: spending $100 with the Bybit Card
A $100 purchase denominated in USD and funded with cryptocurrency could incur approximately:
- $0.90 crypto-conversion fee
- No additional foreign-exchange fee
A $100-equivalent purchase in Georgian lari or euros could incur approximately:
- $0.90 crypto-conversion fee
- $2 foreign-exchange fee
That creates a potential direct cost of approximately $2.90, before accounting for the exchange rate used.
Using an existing USD fiat balance could avoid the crypto-conversion fee. This is why the asset selected for card payments matters.
Bybit cashback and rewards
The standard Bybit Card reward starts at 2% cashback, but the entry-level monthly reward cap is only $5.
Higher card-reward tiers can provide:
| Tier | Cashback | Monthly cashback cap | Monthly spending requirement for non-VIP users |
| Base | 2% | $5 | None |
| Tier 2 | 2% | $50 | $500 |
| Tier 3 | 4% | $150 | $3,500 |
| Tier 4 | 6% | $250 | $9,500 |
| Tier 5 | 8% | $400 | $12,500 |
| Tier 6 | 10% | $600 | $25,000 |
Bybit VIP users can receive higher card tiers based on their VIP status rather than meeting the corresponding monthly card-spending threshold.
Rewards initially arrive as Bybit Card points. Users can redeem them through the Reward Market or activate Auto Cashback to convert eligible rewards into USDT. Points generally remain pending for four days while the payment is confirmed.
Bybit also periodically offers subscription rebates and promotional merchant rewards. These can be useful, but they should be treated as additional promotions rather than permanent card economics.
Bybit Card limits
For the average programme, Bybit currently lists:
- Daily spending limit: $15,000
- Monthly spending limit: $65,000
- Annual spending limit: $300,000
Limits may differ between virtual and physical cards and between jurisdictions.
How to apply for a Bybit Card
- Open and verify a Bybit account.
- Complete the identity-verification requirements for your country.
- Open the Card section in the Bybit app or website.
- Confirm that the card programme is available for your registered address.
- Apply for the virtual card.
- Complete any additional compliance questions.
- Once approved, activate the virtual card.
- Apply separately for a physical card where available.
Bybit generally requires users to obtain the virtual card before ordering the physical version. We have tested adding a virtual card to Apple Wallet, and it worked well.
Who is the Bybit Card best for?
The Bybit Card makes the most sense for:
- Existing Bybit users
- Users who want to spend directly from an exchange account
- People who can pay in the card’s base currency
- Higher-volume users who can qualify for enhanced reward tiers
- Residents of countries with a well-supported local Bybit card programme

open Bybit Card now2. WhiteBIT Nova USD Card review
The new WhiteBIT Nova USD Card is a USD-denominated virtual Visa card offered through WhiteBIT’s international platform and card provider Hashbank.
It is distinct from the original euro-denominated WhiteBIT Nova card. Users are not automatically migrated from the old card, and the USD product requires a separate application and verification process.
At launch, the new card is virtual only, although WhiteBIT may expand its functionality later.
WhiteBIT Nova USD Card fees
WhiteBIT currently lists the following fees:
- Card opening: $0
- Monthly maintenance: $0
- Account inactivity: $0
- Card closure: $0
- Card funding: $0
- Purchase transaction: 1.5% + $0.20
- Non-USD currency conversion: 1.5%
- PIN change: $1
- ATM withdrawals: unavailable at launch
The transaction fee applies even when the purchase is denominated in USD. For purchases in other currencies, the card can add the separate 1.5% currency-conversion fee.
Example: spending $100 with WhiteBIT Nova USD
For a $100 purchase in USD:
- 1.5% transaction fee: $1.50
- Fixed transaction charge: $0.20
- Total direct card fee: approximately $1.70
For a $100-equivalent purchase in euros, Georgian lari or another currency:
- 1.5% transaction fee: $1.50
- Fixed charge: $0.20
- 1.5% non-USD conversion fee: $1.50
- Total direct card fees: approximately $3.20
The Visa exchange rate and the cryptocurrency-to-USD conversion process can also influence the final cost.
This fee structure is particularly important for small payments. On a $5 coffee, for example, the $0.20 fixed charge alone represents 4% of the purchase before the percentage-based fee is added.
WhiteBIT cashback
WhiteBIT Nova uses a category-based cashback system. Available categories can include:
- Groceries
- Restaurants and cafés
- Taxi services
- Clothing and footwear
- Beauty services
- Subscriptions and memberships
The exact cashback percentage depends on the selected category and merchant-category code. WhiteBIT can change the available rates, so the categories shown in the app are the most reliable source at the moment of purchase.
Existing WhiteBIT Nova documentation describes a system in which users select three categories and can change them periodically. Legacy Nova terms use a €25 monthly cashback cap and a minimum withdrawal threshold, but the new USD-card announcement does not clearly restate an equivalent dollar-denominated cap. USD-card users should therefore confirm the current limit in the app rather than assuming that every purchase will earn the advertised maximum percentage.
Cashback may be paid in supported assets such as BTC or WBT, depending on the current programme.
WhiteBIT Nova USD spending limits
WhiteBIT lists comparatively high transaction limits:
- Maximum single transaction: $10,000
- Daily spending limit: $40,000
- Monthly spending limit: $200,000
ATM withdrawals are not supported at launch, even though WhiteBIT has published prospective withdrawal limits for possible future activation.
WhiteBIT Nova USD country availability
The USD card has one of the broadest published eligibility lists among the three products.
Supported jurisdictions span much of:
- The European Economic Area
- Ukraine and Moldova
- Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Central Asia
- The Balkans and Switzerland
- Türkiye and the Gulf countries
- Australia and several Asian markets
- Latin America
- Parts of Africa
The published list includes countries such as Ukraine, Georgia, Germany, France, Spain, Poland, Portugal, Switzerland, Türkiye, the UAE, Kazakhstan, Australia, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, India, Singapore and Malaysia.
The United States, Canada and the United Kingdom are not included in the current published USD-card list. Availability is being introduced in stages, so even an eligible user may not see the application immediately.
How to apply for WhiteBIT Nova USD
Through the WhiteBIT website:
- Create and verify a WhiteBIT.com account.
- Open the Card section.
- Select the USD account or Nova USD Card.
- Start the additional card-provider verification.
- Provide the requested passport information.
- Complete a selfie check and verify your telephone number.
- Enter citizenship, legal address, occupation and financial information.
- Wait for approval.
- Open and activate the virtual card.
In the mobile app, users may also access the USD account through the currency or flags icon and select Open followed by Get Card.
WhiteBIT estimates that completing the form takes several minutes. Verification commonly takes around two hours but can take up to 24 hours.
Mobile-wallet support
The card cannot currently be tokenised directly from inside the WhiteBIT app. However, WhiteBIT says users can add the virtual card details manually to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet where those services and the issuing programme are supported. We have tested that and it is correct!
Who is WhiteBIT Nova USD best for?
WhiteBIT Nova USD may suit:
- Existing WhiteBIT users
- People in countries not supported by competing crypto cards
- Users who can maximise high cashback categories
- People making larger purchases, where the fixed $0.20 fee is less significant
- Users who primarily spend in US dollars
It is less attractive for frequent small payments or purchases in non-USD currencies unless the applicable cashback comfortably exceeds the card fees.

open WhiteBit USD card now3. Wirex One Card review
Wirex One is a newer card and financial-account product that Wirex markets as an onchain, non-custodial alternative to conventional crypto-card accounts.
Users begin with a virtual card and may gain access to plastic or metal cards through higher membership tiers. Wirex One supports Apple Pay and Google Pay, while the card can be used at merchants accepting its relevant Visa or Mastercard programme.
Does the Wirex One card cost $50?
When I opened the Wirex One app on 24 July 2026, it asked me to deposit $50 before opening the virtual card.
This should not necessarily be described as a $50 card-issuance fee. However, I found this a barrier for many people who aren’t familiar with Wirex and whether it’s legit and trustworthy.
Wirex’s general card-order documentation says that users may be required to fund their account or maintain a minimum amount before ordering a card, and that the exact requirement can vary by country and account. The amount displayed in the app is therefore more reliable than a universal figure.
For my account, the practical process was:
- Register for Wirex One.
- Complete verification.
- Deposit $50.
- Unlock the virtual card.
Prospective users should check whether their deposit remains fully spendable and whether the same requirement appears in their jurisdiction.
Wirex One card fees
Wirex advertises:
- No monthly card-membership fee
- No annual card fee
- Zero foreign-transaction fees
- Free virtual card
- ATM allowances for physical-card users
- A 2% ATM fee after the relevant monthly free allowance
Virtual cards do not support ATM withdrawals. Physical and metal-card withdrawal limits vary by jurisdiction and card type. Wirex’s latest documentation lists limits reaching approximately €750 per day and €5,000 per month, subject to regional rules.
“Zero FX fee” should not be interpreted as a guarantee that every conversion is performed at the exact mid-market rate. Users should still check the asset-conversion price, spread and blockchain or top-up costs.
Wirex One cashback tiers
Wirex One does not use a paid monthly subscription. Instead, membership depends on two factors:
- The total value of the user’s eligible Wirex One portfolio.
- The percentage of that portfolio held in WPAY.
| Tier | Portfolio requirement | WPAY allocation | Cashback | Monthly ATM allowance |
| Base | None | None | 0.5% | $100 |
| Premium | $500 | At least 1% | 1% | $250 |
| Elite | $2,500 | At least 3% | 3% | $750 |
| Private | $25,000 | At least 5% | 5% | $2,500 |
| Bespoke | $50,000 | At least 10% | 8% | Unlimited under programme terms |
Higher tiers can also unlock physical or metal cards, airport-lounge benefits, partner discounts, enhanced support and subscription rebates.
The important Wirex cashback limitation
The headline cashback percentage does not mean that every accumulated reward can necessarily be withdrawn immediately.
Wirex One uses a reward-redemption power mechanism. The monthly amount that can be redeemed is linked to the value of the user’s WPAY holdings. The published formula provides monthly redemption capacity equivalent to approximately 7% of the USD value of eligible WPAY holdings, with unused capacity rolling forward.
This means that a user may earn cashback but require sufficient WPAY holdings or accumulated redemption capacity before converting all of it into freely usable value.
For that reason, the Base 0.5% or Premium 1% offer is easier to understand than the headline 8% Bespoke reward.
Additional Wirex One rewards
Depending on membership level, Wirex One advertises 50% rebates for selected subscriptions, including services such as:
- Uber One
- ChatGPT Plus
- Claude Pro
- Perplexity Pro
- Whoop
- Bloomberg
- Financial Times
Not every subscription is available at every tier. The broader selection is reserved for Private and Bespoke members.
Wirex One availability
Wirex states that its wider platform operates across more than 130 countries and that its cards can be used at millions of merchants internationally.
Its current card-infrastructure documentation lists supported markets across Europe, Asia-Pacific and Latin America, as well as countries including Georgia, Ukraine, Türkiye, the UAE, Kazakhstan, South Africa, Japan and the United States. However, this broader infrastructure list should not be treated as a guarantee that every resident can currently open the retail Wirex One card.
The definitive test is whether the card option and verification process appear inside the Wirex One app for your registered country.
How to apply for Wirex One
- Download the Wirex One app.
- Create an account.
- Confirm your country of residence.
- Complete identity verification.
- Submit an accepted document, such as a passport, national identity card or driving licence.
- Complete the selfie verification.
- Fund the account with the amount requested in the app.
- Open the virtual card.
- Add it to Apple Pay or Google Pay.
- Apply for a physical card after qualifying for an eligible tier.
Wirex says verification can be completed in minutes, although some applications can take several hours. Users are advised to contact support if a review remains unresolved after 24 hours. Also, as we have already had regular Wirex accounta , you can migrate from your old app to the new one in seconds.
Who is Wirex One best for?
Wirex One appears most suitable for:
- International travellers who frequently spend in different currencies
- Users who value Apple Pay or Google Pay
- People looking for a virtual backup card
- Users willing to hold WPAY to unlock higher tiers
- Larger portfolio holders who can benefit from Private or Bespoke rewards
Its most important advantages are zero advertised FX fees and broad card functionality. Its main disadvantage is the complexity of the WPAY-based tier and reward-redemption system.
Read our existing Wirex review for more information about the wider platform.
open Wirex One card nowReal cost comparison: what happens on a $100 purchase?
The following simplified example assumes the cards are funded with cryptocurrency and the purchase is made outside the card’s base currency.
| Card | Potential direct fees on a $100 purchase | Entry-level cashback | Approximate result before spreads |
| Bybit USD Card | 0.9% crypto conversion + 2% FX = $2.90 | 2% | Approximately $0.90 net cost |
| WhiteBIT Nova USD | 1.5% transaction + $0.20 + 1.5% FX = $3.20 | Depends on category | From a net cost to a positive reward |
| Wirex One Base | No advertised FX or card purchase fee | 0.5% | Approximately $0.50 reward |
This does not include:
- Differences in exchange rates
- Cryptocurrency price spreads
- Blockchain transfer costs
- Funding fees
- Excluded merchant categories
- Cashback caps
- Reversed or refunded payments
- Tax or reporting consequences
The calculation nevertheless illustrates why users should compare net value, not just advertised cashback.
A 10% reward is not automatically superior if it requires a large portfolio, token allocation, limited merchant category or expensive conversion process.
Which crypto card is best for you to choose?
Choose Bybit when:
- You already keep funds on Bybit.
- The card is well supported in your country.
- You can hold or fund it in its base fiat currency.
- You qualify for higher reward tiers.
- You want a simple connection between an exchange and a payment card.
Choose WhiteBIT Nova USD when:
- WhiteBIT supports your country but competitors do not.
- You can earn a high rate in a spending category you use regularly.
- Most of your purchases are in USD.
- You make larger rather than numerous small transactions.
- You already use WhiteBIT for stablecoins or trading.
Choose Wirex One when:
- International spending and currency conversion are priorities.
- You want an immediately available Wirex virtual card.
- You need Apple Pay or Google Pay support.
- You are comfortable with the WPAY ecosystem.
- You have enough portfolio value to benefit from a higher membership tier.
My practical ranking
Best for travel and multi-currency purchases: Wirex One
Wirex One’s zero advertised FX fee gives it a substantial advantage for international spending. Even its 0.5% Base cashback may produce better net value than a higher reward that is offset by a 2%–3% conversion cost.
The uncertainties are its evolving rollout, the initial funding requirement and the complexity of redeeming higher-tier rewards.
Best for existing exchange users: Bybit
Bybit offers a relatively polished card experience and direct access to exchange balances. It is particularly convenient when you already use Bybit and can spend in the card’s base currency.
Its standard 2% cashback sounds generous, but the $5 monthly Base-tier cap and possible conversion fees reduce its value.
Best for category cashback: WhiteBIT Nova USD
WhiteBIT can offer the highest immediate return when a purchase qualifies for a strong cashback category.
However, the 1.5% + $0.20 transaction fee means the card must earn meaningful cashback merely to break even. Non-USD purchases face an additional 1.5% conversion fee, making careful category selection essential.
Should you have more than one crypto card?
For frequent travellers, keeping two or three cards can be more practical than relying on a single provider.
A diversified setup might include:
- Wirex One for foreign-currency purchases
- Bybit for direct access to a Bybit balance
- WhiteBIT for high-cashback categories
- A conventional bank card for deposits, emergencies and merchants that reject crypto-linked cards
- A small cash reserve
- A separate self-custody wallet for long-term cryptocurrency holdings
This creates redundancy if a card is frozen, declined, temporarily unavailable or unsupported in a new country.
A crypto card should generally be treated as a spending layer, not as the only place where you hold your savings. Our crypto personal-finance guide explains how to divide funds between banks, exchanges, wallets, cards and cash.

Frequently asked questions
Which card has the highest cashback?
Bybit advertises up to 10%, WhiteBIT offers rates of up to 10% in selected categories, and Wirex One advertises up to 8%.
These maximum rates are not directly comparable. Bybit requires high monthly spending or VIP status, WhiteBIT rewards depend on categories and merchant codes, and Wirex requires a substantial portfolio and WPAY allocation for its highest tiers.
Which crypto card is cheapest for international spending?
Based on the published card fees, Wirex One is potentially the cheapest because it advertises zero foreign-transaction fees.
Bybit’s Georgia USD card charges 2% for non-USD transactions, while WhiteBIT Nova USD charges 1.5% for non-USD conversion in addition to its standard 1.5% + $0.20 transaction fee.
Is the Wirex One card really free?
Wirex One advertises no monthly or annual card-membership fee. However, the app may ask users to fund their account before opening a card.
In my account, the requirement displayed on 24 July 2026 was $50. This appeared to be a funding requirement rather than a separate non-refundable card fee.
Can I withdraw cash with these crypto cards?
The physical Bybit Card supports ATM withdrawals, subject to regional fees and limits.
WhiteBIT Nova USD does not support ATM withdrawals at launch.
Wirex One supports withdrawals through physical and metal cards, but not through the virtual card. Free allowances depend on the user’s membership tier.
Can I use Apple Pay or Google Pay?
Wirex One supports Apple Pay and Google Pay.
WhiteBIT says users can manually add the virtual USD card to supported mobile wallets, although direct in-app tokenisation is not yet available. You can manually add your card to your phone’s wallet, we have tested it,; and it works.
Bybit mobile-wallet availability varies by region. For example, the Georgia programme documents Google Pay and Samsung Pay support but not Apple Pay.
Can residents of the EEA get a Bybit Card?
EEA residents must use Bybit EU rather than the international Bybit platform. Card availability depends on the user’s country and whether the card programme appears within the Bybit EU account.
Is a crypto card safe?
Crypto cards use familiar Visa or Mastercard payment infrastructure, but the linked cryptocurrency or fiat balance remains exposed to the operational and custodial risks of the provider.
Keep only an appropriate spending balance on a card platform, enable two-factor authentication, use transaction notifications and maintain a backup payment method.
Final verdict on these three crypto cards
Bybit, WhiteBIT Nova USD and Wirex One solve the same basic problem: turning cryptocurrency into everyday purchasing power. But they do so with very different economics.
Bybit provides the most familiar exchange-linked experience.
WhiteBIT offers strong promotional cashback but charges comparatively high transaction fees.
Wirex One has the most attractive multi-currency proposition, although its premium rewards are closely connected to WPAY and portfolio requirements.
For an international user in 2026, the most practical strategy may not be choosing one permanent winner. It may be using each card selectively:
- Wirex One for travel and foreign currencies
- Bybit for convenient exchange-linked spending
- WhiteBIT for selected cashback categories
Always compare the currency, conversion route and expected reward before paying. The best crypto card is not the one with the largest percentage on its marketing page. It is the one that leaves you with the greatest net value after every fee, conversion and reward limitation has been counted.
Crypto-card fees, supported countries, cashback rates and regulatory access can change without notice. This article is educational and does not constitute financial, tax or legal advice.
